About Us

We are a gathering of fallen sinners wrapped in the gracious gift of God's salvation through His Son Christ Jesus. Believers baptized by the Spirit should experience a change in attitude, heart of obedience to His Word, and feeling or opinion about sin. We fall and we fail, but above all we strive to honor the sacrifice Jesus made through an obedient heart.

Our Mission & Vision

To make disciples

Jesus ‘Great Commission’ was to ‘go, make disciples of all the nations …’ (Matthew 28:20).

In too many churches today, you’ll hear this verse. “Go, make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”

What about the rest of Jesus’ statement? “… teaching them to obey ALL that I have commanded.”

What is a disciple? A follower of Christ. What is a follower? Someone who understands the gift of salvation, what it cost God and His Son, and that the only reasonable and acceptable answer upon receiving that gift is to devote one’s life to His commands.

To OBEY.

Making disciples isn’t simply about teaching on a Sunday, perhaps some weeknight, too, and hoping for the best. It’s about walking with one another, admonishing each other, rebuking and correction and training in all righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16) so that the man of God will be equipped for every good work.

In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples” (Luke 14:33).

How often do we hear that in modern Western churches? Let’s make disciples. Iron sharpens iron!

Holy, Holy, Holy

There’s a tragic misconception about what God wants for the lives of His chosen. We’re often told, ‘God just wants you to be happy.’

Actually, no. It’s not that He won’t bless us with every spiritual blessing … it’s that He wants us to be holy first. “Be holy as I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16). Jesus said, “Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect” (Matthew 5:48).

We can’t be perfect in this life, though, so how does that happen? Through His cleansing work. He allows us to go through trials, endure hardships, and have our faith tested through persecution for one key purpose: to help us become holy.

Are you ready for more than lukewarm faith? Are you ready to fan into flame the gift of God (2 Timothy 1:6) He has blessed you with? Have you examined yourself and wondered why you still feel empty, hopeless at times, or like an outsider?

Join us and take a walk with Christ and hear what He actually told, taught, and commanded those who truly desire to follow Him.

Our Beliefs & Values

We believe in the Trinity, that God is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three in one.

We believe humanity is fallen and inherits a sin nature passed down to us from the Fall when Adam and Eve first sinned in the Garden of Eden.

We believe our sin separates us from the Father and none of our works, good deeds, or wishful thinking can reconcile us to Him.

Only the Blood of Christ, His perfect sacrifice, can cleanse us of sin.

We believe we are ‘saved by grace through faith and that not of ourselves, it is a gift of God not based on works so that no one may boast’ (Ephesians 2:8-9).

We believe Jesus clearly admonishes those who refuse to obey His teachings and His commands.

We believe that ‘many’ will call Him ‘Lord, Lord’ and be stunned to be turned away from Heaven (Matthew 7:21-23) because they preferred to live life on their terms and hold onto their treasured sins instead.

We believe the modern church has overwhelmingly been deceived and deceives masses of people who made a profession of faith yet continue to walk the broad, wide road that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13-14).

We believe Jesus warned us to be on guard against false teachers because they will be rampant, wolves coming to us dressed as sheep (Matthew 7:10-12) and as the End approaches, they will become bolder, more deceptive, and as a result, the love of most (Christians) will grow cold (Matthew 24:12).

We believe that every prophecy that had to take place before the end arrives has been fulfilled and there’s no time to waste ignoring God’s clear Word anymore.

We believe someone will become the last disciple and then He will return and the world will become a dangerous and hard place for Christians to live.

We believe God is sovereign over all and everything is His, as we are His workmen, assigned to specific tasks and if we fail to follow His commands, we will reap the consequences.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the Kingdom of God” (Matthew 19:24).

For the most part, we are surrounded by comforts and pleasures marketed to us 24/7. Even though Christians are the most persecuted religious group in the world, most of us have never experienced such trials.

If we aren’t tested, how can we know our faith is genuine? John the Baptist said, ‘but the one who comes after me, whose sandals I am not fit to untie, He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire’ (Luke 3:16). The Greek work for fire is pyros, which means suffering. He wasn’t being coy.

He was telling us that suffering is how we are transformed. If you possess the Holy Spirit, you WILL suffer through trials, tests, and pain. But joy comes in the morning!

We need to test our faith. If not, we need to examine it (“Test yourselves to see whether you are in the faith. Examine yourselves. Do you not know that Christ Jesus is in you? Unless, of course, you fail the test” (2 Corinthians 13:5)).

But it’s far too comfortable to rely on a statement of faith, a momentary declaration that ‘we believe’ and not risk giving up the material comforts we love. Christ warned us about complacency, lukewarm faith, and standing firm. Are you walking with Christ?  Or have you placed Him in a corner of your life, only turning to Him once a week (or less) or when bad things happen?

Have you made Him Savior AND Lord OVER your life? Let’s take a walk … together.

Who We Are

Our Team & Leadership

The body of believers are made up of many people with unique and treasured gifts. Just as our body functions best with all parts intact and working as designed, so too does does the body of believers, His church. We encourage anyone interested to become involved -regardless of location in the world or in this walk- to reach out. We’d love to have you along as we walk with Christ.

Our Guide: G Thomas Hedlund

Our Guide: G Thomas Hedlund

No seminary degree. No formal training. G. Thomas Hedlund (Gerald) didn’t grow up in the church. In fact, he once hated God and tried to destroy the faith of Christians. Yet God called him. In fact, YHWH broke him, crushed him, and transformed him.

Of course, this ‘transformation’ is still underway. And the Father through His Holy Spirit has revealed His truth through the Word and the revelation that ‘many who call Him ‘Lord, Lord’ will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven’ (Matthew 7:21-23).

G desires to help share the Word and the deeper, tougher Truths to handle to a world of Christians and seekers who may have surrounded themselves with easy lessons, lukewarm sermons, and the misleading notion that ‘all you need to do is believe and you’ll be saved.’

Does one need a degree from a seminary to be an effective advocate for the Word? Was Peter? Was James? Was John? Was Martin Luther? Maybe, just maybe the Holy Spirit is enough to open our eyes.

G Thomas is not a teacher. He’s not a pastor. Perhaps someday Adonai will assign him that role. But first, he still has work to do. Jehovah is purging the debris of his past, the detritus of the old life from the new creation he has become.

In the meantime, while few sound the warning bells in the midst of easy-believism, G holds to the concept that if you truly want to know God, you can … if you walk with Him.

If you walk with His Son, Christ Jesus.
